These are some of the procedures that we perform in the office.
We have recently added an ultrasound machine to our office.
The compact i7 is versatile, featuring application-specific imaging technology with advanced transducers. From the bedside to the procedure room, the E-CUBE i7 provides ease-of-use and workflow efficiency. So, if you’ll need imaging of your thyroid and salivary glands or a fine needle aspiration (FNA) of a head and neck mass, we now offer the in-office ultrasound to facilitate your diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of progress.
Balloon Sinuplasty is now available to eligible patients as a procedure performed in our doctor’s office, under local anesthesia. Our physician will recommend the best approach for you.
Benefits of Balloon Sinuplasty In-Office:
Local Anesthesia– Balloon Sinuplasty In-Office is an option for patients who decline or are ineligible for general anesthesia.
Fast Recovery– While recovery time varies with each patient, most patients who undergo the in-office procedure can return to normal activities and work within 2 days.
Comfortable Surroundings– Experience the procedure in the comfort of our office rather than a hospital operating room.
High Patient Satisfaction– The majority of patients who had Balloon Sinuplasty In-Office would recommend the procedure to family and friends.
Potential for Significant Cost Savings– Some eligible patients may have lower out-of-pocket costs if the procedure is performed in a lower cost of care setting, such as a physician’s office.
(Currently can only be done as a outpatient procedure at Marin General)

The Pillar® Procedure is a simple, safe and effective treatment designed to help you stop snoring. In many cases, it also helps people suffering from mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The Pillar Procedure stiffens the soft palate, which is believed to be a significant contributor for at least 80% of people who can’t stop snoring. Best of all, Pillar can be performed in about 20 minutes, using only local anesthetic—so you can quickly be on your way to better sleep.
We know you can’t be the person you want to be when snoring interferes with your sleep or your intimacy. And wearing a cumbersome mask to bed for the rest of your life isn’t your first choice. Pillar may just be the answer you’ve been looking for.
