Evan R. Ransom, M.D.


Dr. Ransom is an Ivy League educated and trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He graduated with the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor (top 10%) from the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City. He then completed residency training in Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, a “Top Ten” program and hospital in the United States, according to U.S. News & World Report. Finally, Dr. Ransom was selected from a pool of national and international candidates for a fellowship in facial plastic, reconstructive, and laser surgery in New York City.

Following completion of his training, Dr. Ransom joined Marin ENT. He is the author of over 30 medical studies and textbook chapters, and has given numerous lectures at national meetings. Dr. Ransom’s practice includes cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty (“nosejob” surgery or nose reshaping), all types of surgery for the aging face (facelift, eyelid lift, brow or forehead lift, midface lift, and fat grafting), and reconstruction of complex defects of the face and neck resulting from Mohs surgery. He also provides non-surgical treatments, including Botox, soft tissue fillers, chemical peels, laser, and medical grade skin care.

Community service is a very important part of Dr. Ransom’s practice. He performs pro bono cleft lip and palate surgery with Healing the Children, a non-profit organization focused on international health. In addition, through his work with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery program, Face to Face, Dr. Ransom is proud to dedicate time and offer free specialty care for treatment of domestic violence victims.
